Check for Campground Closures
Before setting off on an autumn RV camping trip, be sure to check that all of the campgrounds you intend to visit remain open. While many parks and resorts in the north stay open through prime leaf-peeping season, it is not uncommon for them to close shortly thereafter. Those that do continue to operate late into the fall usually fill up quickly, so book your reservations early to avoid any surprises.

What are Flush Floor Slide-outs?
“Flush floors” refers to an RV design element that allows a slide-out to not only extend out from the side of the vehicle but also lower into place, creating a seamless floor, free from ridges or steps. This is not only more aesthetically pleasing but also eliminates tripping hazards and makes the floors easier to clean.
